MallMedia.com is an independent reference. It sells nothing on behalf of any property owner and takes no commission on media. Here is exactly how the data is built and where it is weak.
What's in the index
536 U.S. enclosed malls, mills and outlet centers held by 11 owner groups, each mapped to the company that sells advertising inside it. Coverage is deliberately weighted toward institutional portfolios — those are the properties with sellable, standardized media inventory.

Known limitations
- GLA figures are approximate. Square footage is compiled from public listings and operator material of varying vintage. Where a figure could not be verified, the field is left blank rather than estimated.
- Ownership changes constantly. Secondary-market malls trade frequently, and portfolios like Washington Prime's have moved substantially. Verify ownership before committing budget.
- Inventory lists are portfolio-level. Formats shown on a property page are what the owner carries across its portfolio, not a confirmed inventory audit of that specific property.
- No rate cards are published. No major U.S. mall operator publishes rates. The cost ranges here are planning figures compiled from public market guidance, not quotes.
